A documentary directed by Laura Zephirin, following the life and work of Lamya Essemlali, chairperson of Sea Shepherd France. Making Waves is the recipient of the 2020 GSA Student BAFTA awards' Special Jury Prize as well as the 2020 Student Academy Awards Bronze Medal in the Documentary category.
